I was diagnosed with ADHD in my 40s. Looking back, I know how much easier high school and university could have been if I had the right support and tools to manage it. Though I earned my business degree from McMaster University, it wasn’t without its challenges. That’s why I’m passionate about coaching students—I’ve seen firsthand the difference it can make.

I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with my husband, five children, dog, two cats and our fish, Doug.
Having raised five children, all diagnosed with ADHD, I thought I had a good understanding. I knew how incredibly diverse ADHD was, showing up differently in each of my children across all the stages.
After working in marketing and advertising for over 20 years, I was diagnosed with ADHD. After my diagnosis, I delved into learning even more about my own ADHD, and it helped me to better understand the root of many academic, professional and personal challenges I had faced over the years. It also made me realize there was so much more to understand.
ADHD manifests differently for each person, so we each require personalized strategies to manage it effectively. What works for me may not necessarily work for my kids.
This is what drove me to coaching. I saw that by understanding ADHD at its roots—how each of our brains work—we can build skills that help us thrive, not just get by. Witnessing firsthand how this impacted my children's academic success, I knew I wanted to support other students through their journey.
